The BID has recently been awarded its third grant from NY State within the Main Street Program for $250,000, for improvements to 10 South Ocean Avenue as well as other portions of East Main Street.

Thank you to Marian Russo, Executive Director of the Patchogue Village Community Development Agency, for her help and diligent effort in writing and securing this grant. The agreement with the state has to be finalized and the new (next) application contract has to be reworked, then the program has to be marketed. The anticipated time to start accepting new applications for this grant is late March to early April.

News of the BID having received the 2012 Main Street grant was written up in articles appearing in both the Long Island Advance and in a recent edition of Newsday.
